About the speaker
Dalibor Matijević is Managing Director of young, innovative Slovenian business Smart Futuristic. The business was created with the aim of solving global food waste problem. At first he focused on bigger producers and their food warehouses. By innovative digital technology he finds the end user for a food within any timeframe before the expiration date. Together with their partners, they contribute to efficient use of resources for a sustainable and inclusive future. Dalibor is an entrepreneur with a few years of experience, clear vision and mission: besides gaining financial freedom, being also socially responsible.
Smart Futuristic wishes to solve basic everyday problems. At the beginning they focused on a food waste problem within the production sector. Although they are a young business, they already won several awards: Tech Crunch, Central European Startup Award as the best Slovenian startup in a Cloud/Big data application category and were selected by the program Smart City, ABC business accelerator.
