Marjan Mačkošek

Marjan Mačkošek is a CEO at Štore Steel. He graduated on mechanical engineering at the University of Maribor, and subsequently continued his education on IEDC business school at Brdo. During his career he received numerous awards for innovation, was involved in the corporate restructuring of the Slovenian Steelworks and development of Štore Steels into a successful global company. In 2012 he won the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce Award for outstanding business and entrepreneurial achievements.

He is a board member of Celje Regional CCIS, board member of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, president of the Association of Metals and Non-metals at the Chamber, and a member of Slovenian Academy of Engineering.
