About the speaker

Stephanie is leading the Foundation’s Gov. & Cities Programme. This programme focuses on supporting public bodies in setting the right enabling conditions for the transition to a circular economy, initiating regional innovation initiatives, and strengthening local business activity – by building capacity and sharing best practices among an international group of governments and cities, by fostering collaboration with businesses and academic institutions, and by engaging SMEs on the topic. Stephanie is also responsible for the project ‘Delivering the circular economy – a toolkit for policy makers’.

Previously, she was Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, based in their Munich office. She was part of the team conducting analysis and publishing “Towards the Circular Economy (economic and business rationale for an accelerated transition) Vol. 1” report, presented at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos 2012. Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Management (“Dipl.-Kffr.”) from the University of Mannheim, Germany.
