This was the first summer event before the main event as a call to awake the awareness of all people, that we should do something about our environment.
The event began on 29th June 2013 at 11:55am on the beach Lipovica in Opatija, Croatia. The event was attended by ships, children and adults who have had the opportunity to symbolically blow the horn for the Mediterranean together with us. The atmosphere was great, we were able to interest people and inform them about the importance of the conservation of the Mediterranean Sea as well as the existence of the main event where we will all unite in cleaning.
We consider this event very important and successful though the response of other Mediterranean countries was very small, and we hope that for the next event, as well as for the main event will be greater 🙂
