Support Let’s Do It Mediterranean!
If you are not from a Mediterranean country, but want to support the Let’s Do It Mediterranean (LDIM) project: dive in for some action of your own! Help us to spread the spirit of LDIM campaign and find more volunteers!
Check list of organizing a supportive event:
1) Find some friends to share your ideas!
2) Choose an event to organize!
3) Plan and organize a supportive event!

4) Make a photo of yourself or friends at the event showing the slogan of 3 continents and 1 sea (“ok” sign of divers)! If possible also share other outcomes (links to articles, videos, etc).
5) Post the photo (max 200x200px) on Let’s Do It Mediterranean! facebook page with your name, the exact location of the event, tag #supportldim and description of what happened!

You can also organize any other activity that brings positive attention and possible benefit for our environment and LDIM movement. Even the smallest event can help Let’s Do It Mediterranean! to find more volunteers!
Please keep in mind whilst organising a clean-up event:
- Visit the area before to make sure there is trash to clean and that the area is safe (cliffs, angry dogs, needles).
- Think about how you are going to dispose the waste before you collect it. Collect only as much of garbage as you are able to correctly dispose of and check if the local municipality can help you with the disposal of the garbage!

- Organize bags and gloves for volunteers or make sure they know to bring their own!
- The volunteers should have appropriate clothes for this type of activity (e.g. sport clothes, preferably long trousers, comfortable and protective footwear, etc).
- It’s good to use light backpacks, with the minimum needed: water, food, chocolate, candies or any type of food that can offer energy, hygienic objects.
- Dangerous objects should be handled with maximum care (sharp, blunt, massive, toxic substances or materials in unstable positions).
- The volunteers should avoid dangerous zones if they are not prepared for them! (steep cliffs, windy coastal areas, etc.)
