3.   What is your personal connection to the Mediterranean sea?DSCN1567

Every summer since I’ve been born I have swum in the Mediterranean. The weather in Malta is so good, that I’ve swam as late as December and as early as March on a number of years. Swimming isn’t my favorite of activities… cliff jumping on the other hand I quite like. Not taking into account, the number of dates I’ve had influenced by the romantic beauty of the sea. 🙂

4.   Name 3 changes you’d like to see in people for a healthier environment in next 2 years!

1. Awareness, knowing what we risk to lose, and what we therefore gain by our actions towards a cleaner tomorrow.

2. Engagement, the environment concerns us all and we should be active in keeping it clean and conserving its biodiversity.

3. Sustainable, we all affect the environment around us, striving for a more sustainable society would achieve a healthier world.

5.   What would be your 2 suggestions for people who want to keep the Mediterranean clean?IMG_6003

Join your national LDI campaign effort, strive for a cleaner sea and a brighter future.
Be mindful of your consumption and the manufacturing process behind the products you use.

6. What are you doing in your “real” life (i mean if you’re not promoting Let’s Do It Med)?

I’m studying biology and chemistry at the University of Malta. I’m also an avid cyclist and fiction reader. I work as a freelance designer and cameramen. I present scientific topics for discussions, as well as volunteer at a local children’s center.

7. Can we clean the Mediterranean Sea in spring 2014?
