eReuse.org (Electronic Reuse) is a set of open-source tools and open models and services to support reach circular economy of electronics through increase lifetime and ensure traceability until recycling. eReuse.org envision to empower and engage people around the world to create local communities which bootstrap electronic reuse and to support the development of a globally recognized reuse quality and traceability standard. Any initiative focused on fixing, reusing, recycling and in general promoting zero waste on electronic equipment are warm welcome. eReuse.org has agreements with local authorities, social enterprises active in re-use-repair and recycling, waste unions, collection points and reuse initiatives (donation to charities, sharing economy, internal reuse). To all of them we transfer business models, services and technologies to gain profitability, effectiveness, efficiency and traceability to ensure final recycling. eReuse.org is an EU project supported by CHEST (Collective enHanced Environment for Social Tasks) is a 30 month Research and Development project supported under the Seventh Framework Programme to promote the development of digital based innovations that have the potential to address key societal challenges.
